Information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly: your name, mailing and loss address, phone number, email address, insurance carrier and policy details, claim number, the documents and photos you send us, and your electronic signature on the public insurance adjuster contract. We also keep basic technical records such as submission timestamps used to prevent spam and abuse.
How we use it
We use your information to evaluate and adjust your property damage claim, communicate with you and with your insurance carrier, prepare and store your signed contract, and meet our recordkeeping obligations as a licensed public insurance adjuster.
Text messages
If you consent, we send text messages to the mobile number you provide to collect documents and give you claim updates. Message frequency varies and standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Mobile opt-in data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information with your insurance carrier and its representatives as needed to present your claim, and with vendors who help us operate (secure hosting, document storage, email, and messaging providers). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or by the Texas Department of Insurance.
How we protect it
Documents you upload are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Access is limited to D1 Claims personnel working on your claim. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive identifiers you were not asked to provide.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you, subject to our legal recordkeeping duties, by emailing claims@d1claims.com or calling (346) 336-5700.
