D1 Claims is a family-owned public adjusting firm. We represent property owners — never insurance companies — in documenting, presenting, and adjusting property damage claims.

Who we are

DZ Consulting, LLC dba D1 Claims operates as D1 Claims out of Tomball, Texas. Dawson Zbylot is the licensed public insurance adjuster who leads inspections, policy review, and claim presentation. Scott Zbylot handles client and community relations, bringing a building-industry perspective to the scope work.

Most people meet us during a stressful week. Our job is to lower the temperature, explain what happens next, and do the documentation work thoroughly. We tell you what the policy and the evidence appear to support — including when that is not the answer you were hoping for.

We serve property owners in Texas, Colorado, and Missouri, handling residential and commercial storm, water, and fire damage claims.
